1. Seminar on Precision Agriculture
Aditya College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology is pleased to announce a seminar on “Innovative Technologies in Precision Agriculture” scheduled for December 15, 2024. The seminar will feature experts from leading agricultural institutions and industries, focusing on advanced farming techniques, sensor-based monitoring, and drone applications. Students and faculty members are encouraged to participate.
2. Faculty Research Achievements
We proudly congratulate, Department of Soil and Water Engineering, for publishing a research paper in the Journal of Agricultural Engineering on sustainable irrigation practices. This milestone enhances the college’s reputation for research excellence.
3. Student Achievements
Our students have showcased remarkable talent at the National Agricultural Innovation Contest 2024 held in Pune. The project, “Low-Cost Automated Irrigation System”, secured the second position among 50 participating colleges.
4. Upcoming Workshops on Renewable Energy in Agriculture
To strengthen practical learning, the college is organizing workshops on “Solar and Wind Energy Applications in Agriculture” in January 2025. These workshops aim to equip students with hands-on knowledge to address energy challenges in farming.
5. Campus Recruitment Drive
We are delighted to announce that leading agricultural technology companies, including and , will visit our campus for recruitment in February 2025. Pre-placement training sessions have already begun to prepare students.
6. National Accreditation Update
The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has granted provisional accreditation to our undergraduate programs. This reflects the college’s commitment to maintaining high academic and infrastructural standards.
7. Call for Papers: Annual Technical Journal
The college invites research paper submissions for the Annual Technical Journal of Agricultural Engineering 2025 Edition. The deadline for submission is January 31, 2025. Selected papers will be peer-reviewed and published in our in-house journal.
